I was working in a juvenile detention center in a small town in Washington state
I'm an athletic woman, no makeup, had had a few relationships with guys, and later a few with women, but no relationships with anyone in the past 3-4 years
It was in a small town, and we knew most of the kids pretty well, and many of the staff would mention their boyfriends, husbands or children around t...othered to let me know it'd all been dropped
It was an awful situation
I don't know if Michael Jackson ever did or didn't do anything physically inappropriate with any of the kids he hung around with. I do know those who are different, who travel to the beat of a different drummer, are often ostracized by part of society
Watch the movie PLEASANTVILLE, which shows that very well

I don't know whether or not this has made the rounds yet, but a thousand apologies if you've already seen this a thousand times. I almost fell out of my chair after having read Michael's P.S. and wonder if the truth is out there.

Obama: Air Force 1 or college? AF1!

2011-07-01 11:07:35 by inconvenient_truth

It is 110 miles from Washington D.C. to Williamsburg, Va. Thursday, February 5th, Obama traveled to the Democratic House of Representatives weekend spa retreat being enjoyed at Williamsburg, Virginia.
After Obama was on the stage, he said to the audience, “Thank you for giving me an excuse to use Air Force One.” His words, not mine!
Hey, Obama! What’s wrong with Marine One (the heli...r the annual tuition cost for an in-state student in Illinois. An hour of flight time on Air Force One would pay for the annual tuition for more than eight Illinois students.
So, if you’re Obama faced with the opportunity to take your first flight on Air Force One or send several kids in Illinois to college for a year, which do you choose.
Hell yes! Obama picked the jet!

THE PRESIDENT: Mr. Speaker, Members of Congress, fellow Americans: Four
months ago, I came before you in this chamber to soothe a frightened nation in the early
hours of a new, uncertain century. Our hearts still ache, and our fists are still raised. But
tonight...s late, but in God's almighty war with evil, it's still early. We have
made progress, but our mission is not complete: to win the war on terror, and build an
even greater nation once we've won it.
The course of our struggle is not known, but the outcome is certain. We will not weeble.
We will not wobble. And we will not fall down.
Thank you, and God Bless America.
