Rains in Seattle all of the time. In fact, it has been so long since we really had a good rain, that people are hoping for one today (it has been about 145 days now).
There are other regions of the country that get far more rain. We just get the bad rap because of the overcast skys and the morning mist, which I might add, is beuitful when looking over the fields.
We also have the San...d every year in Issaquah, WA just ouside of Seattle and we really do have Moose that stand beside the highways looking at you and deer that can be hand fed. About 5,000 people race, there is also an annual naked bike ride. "Rose Red" by Steven King-Lakewood, WA just outside of Tacoma (near Seattle). We also have many TV and movie stars that own homes here such as John ratzenberger from "Cheers".
